Trip Introduction

Traveling on the Manang Slu route, you will experience the beauty of Mt. Manaslu (8163 m) or called Phukha Kutang (Kutang) in Nepali language. The 8th highest in the world, it is located in Mansiri Himal, part of the Himalayas in southwestern Nepal. The name Manangslu, meaning "mountain of spirituality," comes from the Sanskrit word Manasa, meaning "wisdom" or "spirit."

The highest point on the trek is the Larkya La Pass, which is believed to be one of the most dramatic treks across the borders of the Himalayas. Day 01: Travel to Kathmandu (1,300m): (-,-,evening)

Our journey begins today. Company representative  Thai Nepal Travels & Treks  will be waiting for you at the airport. Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport After receiving the luggage, look for our representative with a welcome sign of Thai Nepal Travels & Treks  at the departure gate of Tribhuvan Airport. After that, transfer to your hotel. After registration you can relax or go shopping at your leisure In the evening we arrange "Visitor dinner" at a wonderful traditional Nepali restaurant where you will enjoy a program of dance performances. Nepalese food, including a special Nepalese-style special meal.

Today is a free day to adjust your body when you arrive in Kathmandu. and make a license Various you can relax or go shopping at your leisure We stayed overnight in Kathmandu   .

Day 03: Soti Khola by private jeep (775 meters) 7 - 8 hours: (morning, noon, evening)

after breakfast We leave for the village of Korepani on the way. We will be able to admire the beautiful scenery, we will see the Annapurna South mountains gradually becoming more prominent, we pass many waterfalls, small villages and lodges before reaching the village (Ghorepani).

 

We stopped for a view at the highest hill before reaching the village. That provides a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains including the mountains. Annapurna South and Mt. Nilgiri, the village has small shops selling local items such as handbags and local handicrafts. We stayed overnight at Korepani. (Ghorepani) 

Day 05: Jagate (Jagat, 1340 meters) - 6 hours : (morning, noon , evening )

After crossing the Machha and Khrola Besi rivers, we walked across a small hot spring at Tatopani village. We continued through the forest until we reached Dowan village, when we crossed a suspension bridge to Yaru Khola village. We climbed the stone steps, then down to the river and climbed the stone steps again to the village of Tharo Bharyang and crossed to the west side of the village of Budhi Gandaki. We climbed over the walking ridge. Go along the river and climb up towards the village. Jagate 

Day 06: Daeng (Deng, 1,804 meters): 6 - 7 hours: (morning, noon , evening )

Today we begin our journey by climbing up to the village of Salleri (Salleri) then walking down to Sirdibas and continued walking to  Ghatta Khola We continued on to Philim village, a large village of the Gurung tribe. cross the long suspension bridge Head north and after that we cross the sorghum fields to the village of Ekle Bhatti.


We walked into an uninhabited valley and a steep path, then we walked down a grassy slope. After that, we crossed the Budhi Gandaki River and walked along the west bank, crossing to the east bank and back to the west bank again. before we reach the red village Gradually, the valley widens, we walk through bamboo forests and cross the Red River. So we reached the red village. We stayed overnight here.

Day 07: Namrung (Namrung, 2630 meters): 6 - 7 hours: (morning, noon , evening )

Today after breakfast we walked out of the village of Daeng, crossed the Budhi Gandaki River and climbed to Rana. We climbed a bit from the bridge to enter the path to Bi. (Bhi) We then walked to the west of the Budi Gadaki valley.

 

We walked through the forest and mani. From here there is another route, we choose the route to go to Prok village. In this village there is a beautiful viewpoint of Shiring Himal mountain. After that we cross the river Budi Kadaki many times and Follow the headwaters of the river through dense forests. We walked for a while and the forest became less dense, we continued our walk after climbing the last steep to reach Namrung Village and spend the night here.

Day 08: Samagaon (Samagaon, 3530 meters): 6-7 hours: (morning, noon , evening )

On our trek, at the beginning we continued ascending and walking through the forest to the village of Lihi, a beautiful village with numerous chortens and barley fields. We walked across the valley on the side. Along the way, we can see the views of the mountains, Siring and Ganesh Himal (Shiring and Ganesh Himal) up close along the way.

 

We walked through Sho Village, Lho Village, we explored and visited the famous Ribung Gompa Temple. With a beautiful view of Mt. Manaslu. After that we walk to Shyala village. From here you will find Mt. Manangslu and a large glacier beside. In front and there are other snowy peaks to the right and at the very end is Mount Ganesha, then the last village is Samagon, where we stayed overnight.

Today we walk on the north side down the Budi Kandaki river path, walking along the bridge over the side stream. The path to the left leads to Manang Slu Base Camp On our way to Larkya La, we pass several mani rock walls and the valley expands, then walk through the pine and birch forests of Germo Garkha village. (Kermo Kharka) We crossed a wooden bridge over the Budi Kandaki River before reaching Samdo Village. We will see a stone arch and a large white Kani. We stayed overnight at Samdo Village.

Day 12: Dharamsala/Larkya Base Camp (Dharamsala/Larkya BC /4460 meters): 4 - 5 hours: (morning, noon , evening )

Today we only took a short walk and had free time in the afternoon. Our day started with us walking along the Budi Kandaki River and crossing a wooden bridge. and started walking up crossing two rivers and encountering a glacier We continued on to the Salka Khola valley and climbed up to the rocky guesthouse (4450 m) to a dwelling called Daramsala, or at Called Larke Phedi. Overnight at Dharamsala.

Day 13:  bittang  (Bimthang/3720 m): 8 - 9 hours: (morning, noon , evening )

Today was a long day walking to Bimthang village. We started with a short hike to reach the northern valley of Larkya Glacier. Take in the stunning views of Cho Danda and Larkya Peaks (Cho Danda and Larkya Peak), then walk across the glacier and climb to the steepest part at the end of the journey. From here we can clearly see the mountains of Himlung Himal, Mount Shilo Himal, Mount Kanguru and Annapurna II (Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kangguru and Annapurna II). We stayed overnight at Bimtam Village with a beautiful view of Mt. Manang Slu

Day 14: Dharapani (Dharapani/ 1,9630 meters): 6-7 hours: (morning, noon , evening )

We bid farewell to the village of Bimtang. We walked down and crossed the high meadow (Sangure Kharka). After that, crossing the bridge over the river Dud (Dudh), we walked through a thousand-year-old rose forest. Rhododendron and follow a path through a narrow canyon. And we reach the highest point in the Karche valley (2785 meters).

 

We walked across the fields before climbing onto the ridge. After that, a path emerges from a large ridge line that runs along the river bank, is the village of Gor (2580 meters). From the village of Gor, walk a short distance past fig and rhododendrons. Cross a large suspension bridge we will reach Dharapani village and spend the night here.
